Technology and Livelihood Education major in Industrial Arts

This course deals with the various welding techniques in the industry, including gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding and shielded metal arc welding. In addition, an introduction to machining is also provide to students.

This course deals with the areas of civil technology related to drafting, carpentry, woodworking and construction painting.

This course deals with an introduction to the concept of industrial arts. It includes discussions on technology, its evolution, utilization and significance, with industry, its organization, materials, occupations, processes, and products; and with problems, and benefits resulting from the technological nature of society. As an introductory subject, it is designed to develop certain habits, attitudes, and abilities desirable for all citizens of an industrial and technological civilization. It covers the basic knowledge and skills in the areas of automotive, civil, electronics, and electrical.
